Having failed to update for a while the descriptions here are very brief but I have put what I have up for completeness
26th May 2013
Sunday morning club ride out with some of the Wheelers, met Stephen at the normal place, headed down to Weston to pick up the others, out up the coast and then up over Burrington Combe and into Cheddar for coffee and cake before heading back.

Evening session out with Stephen, nothing too intensive just a bit of sprint training to help Stephen with his top speed for the weekly club time trails. Conclusion, I can go faster, Stephen can keep his top speed up for longer.

Today is the Mid Somerset Frondo an organised ride which the Wheelers are riding on mass I came up with the bright idea of riding out to where we had arranged to meet just outside Cheddar just to avoid using the car. We all met up headed down to the start signed on and set off. Our plan was for a group of us to do a shorter distance ride and shelter some of the club members wo were doing the longer distance for the section where the routes where the same. My legs were good and we flew up the Gorge and set a good pace as planned. Unlike my experience at the Coasting in Cornwall event I really enjoyed this mass participation ride as I found the atmosphere much more friendly. the coffee stops were great and I really enjoyed my ride. Riding home after was not that much fun but it did make for a 123km day.
